Maybe only a few of you know that I’m a total design geek, especially when it comes to Italian design and even more when it comes to the Italian brand Alessi. You can be 100% sure that if a store displays some Alessi items, I stop, no matter what. Then I start drooling over the most beautiful and timeless pieces the design industry has ever produced, wishing I could buy them all. Or at least one at the time (…like the tall ones on the left- Paolo, do you read this??)

Correct, in both cases the car on the left is white :). All joking aside, it is not unusual at all to see two cars parked like this in Italy. Space is limited on the streets and sometimes it is truly a miracle to find a spot where you can park your car. For this reason Italians have been compelled to refine their driving skills. Believe it or not, Italians are great drivers.
All historical theaters are fascinating, but for me the Teatro Rossetti is topping the list. Founded in 1954 in a 1878 building, today it is considered one of the most important Italian theaters. The galleria shines with its gold, red and bright blue decorations, while the ceiling features a starry sky spotted here and there by chubby clouds. One more reason to go to theater.
