What do these two images have in common?

Correct, in both cases the car on the left is white :). All joking aside, it is not unusual at all to see two cars parked like this in Italy. Space is limited on the streets and sometimes it is truly a miracle to find a spot where you can park your car. For this reason Italians have been compelled to refine their driving skills. Believe it or not, Italians are great drivers.

I often wonder when I see such parking, how they get the car out? You are right: Italians are good drivers, but I resentit when they park in the pedestrian crossing or double-park “just for five minutes” and block the bus I am on!
I know what you mean Laurel, it happened to me many times as well. I famosi cinque minuti.
I’m sorry but when I lived in Italy (30 years, now I’m back in Sweden) I parked my little car like that. Yes I’m guilty 🙂
We all are Christina! Pero’ ci vuole anche una certa abilita’ nel farlo, giusto?
