There’s something I really cannot avoid eating when I’m in Italy and these are the Sofficini Findus al formaggio. They are a sort of big semicircular dumplings filled with creamy cheese that you fry in just a little oil. They come in several versions: Mozzarella and Ham, Mozzarella and Mushrooms, Mozzarella and Tomato, and more!
They are crunchy and tasty. They don’t really belong to the healthy food category, I know, nevertheless I love them and have them once in a while (well, quite often, actually).
Have you ever tried them?

Wish I knew about these last week. Just got home from two weeks in Italy.

We just tried them tonight! An indulgence for sure! While the food over here is so fabulous day in and day out with all the fresh ingredients, once in a while it’s good to do something bad for yourself like this!
P.S. We bought your ebook when it first came out (years ago) and have followed your blog posts since then … about 5 years ago, we ended up buying a place in italy and spend about 20 weeks a year here … in the medieval paese of Castello delle Forme, Umbria … thanks for being part of the inspiration to be here!
