June 29, 2014

Yomo- Italy from the Inside

Tomorrow is the day: the kids and I will be leaving for Italy to spend 5 weeks with family and friends in Trieste. The day after tomorrow is the other day: I will be eating the best yogurt on planet earth, the Yomo al malto. Barley yogurt? Yes, and it is delicious. Arrivo!

There’s something about yogurt in Italy…

October 28, 2012

As a huge yogurt fan, I’m in heaven when I come to Italy, for the simple reason that here I can find so many more flavors than in the States. Besides, I find that Italian yogurts are less sweet than American ones.

The flavors I purchased (for you guys to see, and for me to enjoy :)) are: pear, plum, pineapple (ananas), lemon, but you can also find cereals, hazelnut, and pistachio. However, I think that the best of the best is the yogurt al malto, which is the tall red “guy” on the left. I would swim in it: it is creamy, not too sweet, just perfect.

So, don’t forget: when you come to Italy, stop by a supermercato and look for it. Try it and let me know if you like it as much as I do.
